The Waverley/Woollahra Local Headquarters of the NSW State Emergency Service is situated adjacent to the Waverley Council works depot at 97-115 Portman Street, Zetland.  Primary access is via the car park at the extreme Northern end of Dunning Avenue.

The move to this location in August 2003, from 158 Carrington Road Waverley, enabled a much needed expansion of facilities including Equipment Storage, Garages, Operations Centre, Training Rooms and Crew and Kitchen areas.

The Waverley/Woollahra SES unit provides services to residents for flood, & storm damage in a large portion of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. This includes Watsons Bay, Vaucluse, Bondi, Waverley, Woollahra, Darling Point and all areas in between as well as parts of Paddington.
